Substrates - Quality Assurance
Our products meet the quality criteria according to the German community of goods for raw materials (peat) and readyto- use peat substrates. Thus a continuous control with regard to structure, moisture content, weed content and self-heating takes place during the harvesting process.
During the production, in addition to sensory testing regarding self-heating, the processing is monitored in terms of structure, moisture content of the raw material, pH and nutrient levels.
Other criteria for quality assurance are weight and volume controls according to EN 12580, sampling, including reserve samples, and the corresponding data logging.
